How long does it take to deliver machines?
On average, it takes approximately two months to re-engineer a machine that will provide a superior sound quality and specification over the original machine. What Brands do you recommend for ‘Reel to Reel’ machine refurbishment?
We recommend high quality machines as a base, such as AKAI, Fostex, Tascam, TEAC, Technics, Realistic, Revox and Yamaha. What's the difference between 2 track and 4 track recordings?
2 Track recording is where music is only recorded in one direction, but covers 50% of the tape for each channel. This gives a superior sound (stereo separation) and captures more information. 4 Track recording is where the music is recorded in both directions, covering 25% of the tape for each channel. This allows twice the recording time as a 2 Track recording. However, there is a slight reduction in stereo separation. Do you have a set price for remastering music?
No, there is no set price as this depends on the quality of the original source and the length of the source to be remastered in time. Enquires are welcome and estimates can be provided. What does HiFi mean?
HiFi (High Fidelity) is a term used by listeners, audiophiles and home audio enthusiasts to refer to the high-quality reproduction of sound. |
